More Than an ADHD Test
There is no single test that can diagnose ADHD. A thoughtful evaluation considers developmental history, current functioning, executive functioning, mental health, behavior across settings, and objective data when useful.
The goal is not simply to determine whether you meet criteria for ADHD. It is to better understand how your brain works, where you may be struggling, what strengths or compensatory strategies you have developed, and what support may actually help.

ADHD Evaluation FAQS
What is the difference between a Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation and an ADHD Computer Screening?
A Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation is a diagnostic evaluation designed to determine whether your history, current experiences, and assessment results are consistent with ADHD. It includes a comprehensive clinical interview, ADHD and executive-function measures, QbCheck, collateral information when appropriate, a feedback appointment, and a comprehensive written report.
The ADHD Computer Screening is a shorter service that includes questionnaires and QbCheck to provide additional information about attention, activity, and impulse control. It can be useful when you or your treating provider want objective screening data, but it is not a diagnostic evaluation and does not result in a formal ADHD diagnosis.
What is QbCheck?
QbCheck is a computerized assessment that provides objective information about attention, activity, and impulse control. It is completed remotely using a computer with a webcam and is one source of information used during the evaluation.
QbCheck does not diagnose ADHD on its own. Results are interpreted in the context of your developmental history, clinical interview, questionnaires, executive-function measures, collateral information when appropriate, and other available information.
Can ADHD be evaluated through telehealth?
Yes. My ADHD evaluations are designed for telehealth and are available to clients in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Interviews, questionnaires, assessment measures, QbCheck, feedback appointments, and other components of the evaluation can be completed remotely.
Telehealth also allows the evaluation to take place within your everyday environment rather than requiring travel to an unfamiliar testing office.
Do parents, partners, teachers, or other people need to participate?
Not always. Collateral information can be helpful because ADHD begins during development and often affects functioning differently across settings. Depending on your age and circumstances, questionnaires may be completed by a parent, partner, teacher, or another person who knows you well.
For adults, I recognize that a parent or childhood informant may not be available or appropriate. The absence of collateral information does not automatically prevent an ADHD evaluation from being completed.
Can I use the evaluation for medication management?
A Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation provides diagnostic information that can be shared with your physician or other prescribing provider when discussing treatment options, including medication.
Individual prescribers may have their own requirements before prescribing ADHD medication, so I recommend confirming those requirements with your provider when possible. The ADHD Computer Screening alone may not meet a prescriber’s requirements for a formal diagnostic evaluation.
Can I use the evaluation for school, workplace, or testing accommodations?
A Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation includes diagnostic documentation and individualized recommendations that may support requests for accommodations at school, work, or on high-stakes examinations.
Documentation requirements vary by institution and testing organization, and an ADHD diagnosis does not guarantee approval of a particular accommodation. If you are seeking accommodations from a specific organization, I recommend reviewing its current requirements before beginning the evaluation and letting me know about any required forms or documentation.
How long does an ADHD evaluation take?
The evaluation includes paperwork and questionnaires, a clinical interview, assessment measures, QbCheck, review and integration of the information collected, and a feedback appointment. The overall timeline varies depending on the complexity of the evaluation, whether records or collateral information are needed, and how quickly assessment materials are completed.

What is included in the Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation fee?
The $825 Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation fee includes the clinical interview, ADHD and executive-function measures, QbCheck, review of relevant records and collateral information when appropriate, scoring and interpretation of assessment data, integration of findings, a feedback appointment, and a comprehensive written report with diagnostic impressions and individualized recommendations.
